Belding Walbridge acquires JM Foster of Iowa.

On September 18, 2001, Belding Walbridge, a Walbridge Aldinger affiliate, acquired assets critical in the operations of J. M Foster, Inc. based in Le Claire, Iowa. Belding Walbridge is a full-service rigging and millwrighting contractor with additional offices in Aurora, Illinois, Detroit and Mexico City.

Belding Walbridge established a J. M. Foster division. Dave Bass, formerly with Foster, is manager of the new division. Bass is working to build a new business base for the company including new projects for Alcoa, the world’s largest aluminum manufacturer and Ipsco Steel.
